M. Lauch McKinnon
President & Chief Executive Officer

M. Lauch McKinnon is President and Chief Executive Officer of the bank.  Mr. McKinnon has over thirty-five years of professional experience, virtually all of which have been in banking or banking-related enterprises. Most recently, Mr. McKinnon was President and CEO of the Bank of Hiawassee in Hiawassee, Georgia.  Mr. McKinnon also served as the President and CEO of Volunteer Bank and Trust Co. in Chattanooga, Tennessee where he successfully led the development and implementation of the reorganization plan that restored the bank’s asset quality and returned it to profitability. Afterward, he was the organizing President and CEO for North Georgia National Bank in Calhoun, Georgia which opened successfully in 1999.  Previously, Mr. McKinnon worked as an independent consultant for ten years providing services in the areas of strategic planning, performance management, acquisition assessment, and executive selection to the banking industry. For the immediately preceding six years, he was the President of the Collateral Management Division of Lawrence Systems, Inc. in San Francisco, California.

Mr. McKinnon began his career in 1967 as a commercial lending officer with First Union National Bank where he became a Vice President in the national and international divisions of the bank. In 1975, he became the Director of Loan Administration for Palmer Bank Corporation in Sarasota, Florida. 

Mr. McKinnon has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Guilford College and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. He is a graduate of the Georgia Bankers Association CEO Academy and is a member of the Regulation & Taxation Committee of the Community Bankers Association of Georgia.

Rollo Ingram
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Rollo Ingram is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.  Prior to joining RockBridge he served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Carolina National Corporation and its subsidiary bank, Carolina National Bank. From August, 2004 until June, 2005, Mr. Ingram was senior vice president and chief financial officer of the Bank of Hiawasee, Hiawasee, Georgia. Mr. Ingram has also served as an executive officer of several businesses that focused on raising capital for small- to medium-sized financial institutions. 

Mr. Ingram has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.  He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and physics and holds a master’s degree in systems management from George Washington University.  He is a certified public accountant and member of the Georgia Society of CPA’s and AICPA.

E. Middleton Thorne III
Senior Vice President – Commercial Lending

Mid Thorne is  Senior Vice President and Senior Loan Officer.  He is a team leader  responsible for developing a commercial loan portfolio with a focus on lightly monitored ABL deals.    Prior to joining RockBridge in October 2006, he served as Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager in the Corporate Lending Group at the Bank of North Georgia.    Prior to  that,  Mr. Thorne was Vice President, Senior Account Executive for Bank of America in their Commercial Finance Business Credit unit.  He also worked with Co-Bank ACB in both Atlanta and Baltimore as Assistant Vice President and Senior Account Officer.

Mr. Thorne holds a MBA from Georgia State University, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Georgia.

Patti A. Batyske
Senior Vice President –  Deposit Operations & Branch Manager

Patti Batyske is  Senior Vice President of  Deposit Operations and Branch Manager.   Ms. Batyske has over 25 years banking experience and joins the bank after serving most recently as Senior Vice President, Operations at Nantahala Bank & Trust Company, a recent start-up based out of Franklin, North Carolina.  Ms. Batyske also serves as the bank’s BSA, Security and IT Officer.

Ms. Batyske began her banking career in 1981 with Society Bank in Youngstown, Ohio, as a teller.  Since that time she has held various roles with a number of banks including managing deposit operations, Internet banking, and Branch Manager for Bank of Hiawassee in Hiawassee, Georgia and Electronic Banking Manager for United Community Banks in Blairsville, Georgia.
